The Republic of Tea pays homage to legendary musician Jerry Garcia with a limited-edition series of five J. Garcia Artisan Teas. The world, of course, knows him as the late front man of the Grateful Dead and the Jerry Garcia Band, but people may not be aware that he was also an impassioned and prolific artist, creating roughly 500 pieces in watercolor, gouache, pencil, ink, airbrush and digital media.

Each J. Garcia Artisan tea tin features a different work of art and a different flavor such as Spirit of Sage; Shady Grown; Jerry Cherry; Morning Brew; and Magic Herb Blend.
